ADHD Pomodoro Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the ADHD Pomodoro mobile application ("the App") handles information. The App is provided by Thomas D Stoker ("we", "us"). If you have any questions, contact us at thomas@thomasdstoker.com
Summary
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information about you on our own servers. The App has no accounts and no sign-in. Your timer settings stay on your device. The App does display ads through Google AdMob, and AdMob collects some device information to show those ads (described below).
Information the App collects
We collect no personal information. The App does not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any account details.
Settings stored on your device. Your chosen work/rest durations, number of cycles, sound, pitch, volume, and other preferences are saved locally on your device only (using Android's standard app storage). This information never leaves your device and is removed if you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows banner advertisements using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information such as:
- your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID),
- device information (model, operating system version, language, network type),
- your IP address (which gives an approximate, city-level location),
- interactions with ads (such as views and taps).
This data is collected and used by Google in accordance with Google's own policies. We do not receive your personal information from these ads. For more information about how Google uses this data, see:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Your ad choices
You can limit ad tracking at any time in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation. On newer Android versions you can also delete your Advertising ID entirely.
Permissions the App uses
- Notifications / foreground service / wake lock / exact alarms — used only to run the timer reliably and play the alert sound when a work or rest period ends, including when the App is in the background or the screen is off.
- Internet — used only to load the advertisements described above.
These permissions are not used to collect personal information.
Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention
Because we do not collect personal information, we have nothing to retain or delete on our side. Your on-device settings remain until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Data handled by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's policies.
Security
Your settings are stored in the App's private storage on your device. As no personal data is transmitted to or held by us, there is no personal data on our side to be exposed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
