CountFlow Privacy Policy
CountFlow — Privacy Policy (Last updated: 16 June 2026)
CountFlow is a personal counting and habit-tracking app. This policy explains what data the app handles, in plain terms.
The short version: Your counts and settings stay on your device — CountFlow has no accounts and no servers of its own, so we never see or store your data. The app shows ads (Google AdMob), which use a device advertising identifier. We do not sell your data.
What CountFlow stores, and where. Everything you enter — counter name and unit, every logged count, your target, reminder settings and preferences — is stored only in a local database on your device. It is not sent to us or any server we control. Using Settings → "Clear all data", or deleting the app, removes it. You can export your history to a CSV file (Settings → Export); that file goes only where you choose to send it.
Advertising (Google AdMob). CountFlow displays ads served by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process certain information, including a device advertising identifier and general usage/diagnostic data, as described in Google's policies. On iOS, the app asks your permission (App Tracking Transparency) before any tracking; you can decline. Where required (e.g. UK/EEA), the app presents a consent choice for personalised vs non-personalised ads. Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Notifications. If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device; these are not sent through any server.
Children. CountFlow is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices. Clear all data (Settings → Clear all data); export your data (Settings → Export to CSV); manage ad personalisation / advertising ID in your device's system settings.
Changes. We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
