MindBell Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MindBell ("we", "our", or "the app") handles
information when you use the app. MindBell is a meditation timer published by
Thomas Stoker.

Summary

MindBell does not require an account and does not ask you for any personal
information such as your name or email address. Your settings stay on your
device. The only data collected is what is needed to show adverts within the
app, as described below.

Information Stored on Your Device

Your presets and app settings (such as session times, chosen bell sound, and
colour preferences) are stored locally on your device only. This information is
not transmitted to us and is not accessible to us. If you delete the app, this
information is removed.

Advertising

MindBell displays banner adverts using Google AdMob, a service provided by
Google. To deliver adverts, Google may collect and process certain information,
which can include device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address,
and general usage and diagnostic data.

On Apple devices, before any tracking takes place, MindBell shows Apple's App
Tracking Transparency prompt asking for your permission. If you decline, you
will still see adverts, but they will not be personalised using tracking across
other apps and websites.

App Tracking Transparency

In line with Apple's requirements, MindBell will ask for your permission before
allowing tracking for advertising purposes. You can change your choice at any
time in your device settings under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

We Do Not

We do not ask you to create an account or sign in.
We do not collect your name, email address, or contact details through the app.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Children's Privacy

MindBell is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted
on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
